What loans can I pay using the online or automated telephone services?
You can pay any mortgage or consumer (boat, car, truck, personal line of credit, home equity, etc.) loan.
What loans can not be paid online?
At this time, any commercial loan and consumer loans that have been charged off may not be paid using our online or automated telephone payment services. If you are not sure if your loan can be paid using these services, please call Customer Service 24 / 7 at 800-457-2387.
When can I make a payment to my loan?
You can use the online and automated telephone services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to schedule a loan payment. Payments scheduled by 5:30 p.m. for the same business day will be processed that day. Payments scheduled after 5:30 p.m. and on non-business days will be processed on the next business day.
What do I need to make a payment?
You will need your loan account number and your Social Security number to access the service (online or automated telephone). To make a payment, you will need the account number of the checking or savings account you want the payment funds to be withdrawn from and the bank routing number of the financial institution at which the account is held.
When will the payment credit to my loan?
Payments will credit to your loan account for the same business day on which the payment was processed.
How will payments be applied to my loan?
All payments made through our online or automated telephone services will be applied as a regular payment to your loan account, according to the terms of your loan agreement with us. This includes any extra funds received with the payment. For most loans, a payment is applied to interest, then principal. Please review your loan agreement. If you are unsure how payments will be applied to your loan account, please contact Customer Service at 800-457-2387.
Is there a fee for using the online or automated telephone services to make a payment?
At this time there is no fee when making a payment using our online or automated telephone services or when you call Customer Service. Other fees may apply as described in your loan agreement.
When will the payment funds come out of my account?
The payment funds will be withdrawn from the account you specified within one to two business days of the business day on which the payment was processed.
What if there are insufficient funds in my account to make the payment?
If there are not enough funds in the account you specified to make the payment from, we will attempt to fund the payment on the next business day. If the payment is not successfully funded after the second attempt, the credit to your loan will be reversed and you may be asked to specify another funding account, visit a local store, or mail your payment.
Can I pay off my loan using the online or automated telephone services?
Yes. We ask that you contact Customer Service (800-457-2387) to obtain the correct payoff amount before making the payment using our online or automated telephone services. Please note that for some mortgage loans, payoffs may not be permitted using these services.
What if I make a late payment?
You may still use our online or automated telephone services to make a payment to your loan account. Any late fees or other charges will be applied to your account and reflected in your balance and next payment due. If you have any questions or concerns about a late payment to your loan, please contact Customer Service at 800-457-2387.
Can I change the date of a scheduled payment?
Yes. To reschedule a payment, please contact Customer Service at 800-457-2387 before 5:30 p.m. on the business day the payment is scheduled for.
Can I cancel a scheduled payment?
Yes. To cancel a scheduled payment, please contact Customer Service at 800-457-2387 before 5:30 p.m. on the business day the payment is scheduled for. Please note we are unable to cancel payments after 5:30 p.m. on the business day the payment is scheduled for.
